Are You Running Life on Empty?

‘Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired?’ This was a popular ad campaign on a local Christian radio station I listened to in the 90’s. I got so sick and tired of the ‘sick and tired’ campaign that I stopped listening to that radio station.

Does it bother you, like it does me, that Christian’s lives don’t look different from others? It seems like we should have ‘more’ life…..less of the ‘sick and tired’ stuff!

How Do I View Others – Looking Up – Looking Down – Or, Eye to Eye?

I am a tall woman, a full 5’10” to be exact. Life looks kind of different from up here.

Truly, your perspective on life is altered based on whether you look people eye to eye, or peer down at them from tall and lofty heights, or look at people from down below.

Height was not a physical attribute I delighted in growing up. When you’re the tallest person in your class in jr. high and high school, boy or girl, my height made me feel uncomfortable. Gawky. **You probably expected an “Ode to Moms’, instead you’re getting an ‘Ode to Achy Muscles’. No accident. Women, moms, aunties, grandmoms, friends – carry some heavy loads.
