As with all of our stories, my life path has woven itself into my heart, into my words, and into my perspective of how God works in and through the tough places of life.
Part of my story, is a long and twisty path towards healing through an environmental illness, that led my family to move to an island in Washington (happiness), and led me to write (joy).
I’ve experienced the gap between my expectations (good health) for life and my real life. I think the enemy tempts us to believe ‘your life should ____’ (fill in the blank), and it is in this place – of unmet expectations – that many of us lose some heart. A little bit of life leaks out of us.
My message: “Do not lose heart!” We need perspective for what true life is and the hope to stand firm in that place.
Things that I hold dear…
• Truth – God’s Word – it brings light and nourishes us.
• Wild, Lavish Forgiveness – of ourselves & others – frees us!
• True Life – the abundant kind – has little to do with our life’s path & circumstances and everything to do with Who we are following!
• God has a plan for our life messes & troubles – full restoration & rebuilding – from the inside..out!
I believe our life path is untraceable, we can’t figure out the twists and turns, but we can share the journey. I hope you’ll join me!
Peace and truth be yours in abundance,
